The front cover depicts The Hermit on the back is The Moon. The inside cover has custom fabric made from scans of my great grandma’s post cards from the early 1900s, I call them “The Ruby Letters”.
This Journal is 6 x 9 or “trade paperback” sized. There are 3 signatures (sections) inside each has a thick scrapbook paper pocket with 11 folded pages tucked in each meaning there are a toll of 132 surfaces to journal, glue or craft as you see fit. I personally love to mix any and all types of paper crafting with my journals so that they get super chunky!
Papers may include vintage music sheets, color construction paper, high quality art papers (marker / watercolor), graph papers, lettering guides, hand dyed coffee stained paper, vintage magazine pages (1970s), Sticker pages, blank envelopes and some personalized embellishments.
I’ve left the binding strings long in case you’d like to add charms to dangle from them… if not, feel free to tie in a bow or cut them to your desired length. (They are NOT meant to be bookmarks, as I don’t think they’d be long enough, but hey you do you!)
There’s also an eyelet on the spine with a keyring in case you’d like to add charms or dangles to your book. It’s your journal, I am not here to tell you how to use it, only to inspire!
